Indoor Air Quality

As a business owner, offering the cleanest and safest environment in your building has become increasingly important. In fact, it may very well be your top priority as we continue to navigate the pandemic. Evaluating the quality of the air inside your building is a vital first step. This air can be filled with harmful particles such as mold, bacteria, pollen and viruses which are often the source for airborne viral infection transmission.

You can make the building safer for your employees, customers and clients by adding indoor air quality technology to the building’s current heating and cooling system. Global Plasma Solutions (GPS) is the leading innovator of indoor air quality solutions. This technology is already being widely used in hospitals throughout the country, and it’s now available for a wide range of businesses, including:

  • Schools
  • Assisted living centers
  • Health care offices
  • Day care centers
  • Restaurants
  • Business complexes
  • Entertainment venues
  • Factories
  • Churches
  • Stores
  • Barber shops

This list is by no means exhaustive. The GPS hospital-grade technology can help improve the indoor air quality safety for any type of building or business, providing an important benefit to everyone visiting the building.

What Is Global Plasma Solutions (GPS)?

GPS attacks and kills pathogens such as mold spores and bacteria, including staph, E. coli and legionella. It also inactivates a wide range of viruses, including coronavirus and norovirus. As of June 2, 2020, GPS is the only indoor air quality technology to have independent third-party laboratory testing that verifies it can inactivate SARS-CoV-2 viral particles at a rate of 99.4% in 30 minutes.

This extremely effective process is made possible by patented technology called Needlepoint Bipolar Ionization (NPBI) which delivers healthy, clean, safe air without producing any harmful byproducts such as ozone.

How Does GPS Technology Work?

GPS works with the building’s existing heating and cooling equipment. The compact GPS units mount inside the fan compartments, and they’re easily installed by a licensed HVAC specialist.

NBPI starts with an electric charge to create a plasma filed with a high concentration of positive and negative ions – the same ions which naturally exist in clean, outdoor air. As these ions travel with the air stream, they attach themselves to particles, pathogens and gases within the environment. The ions help to attract small, submicron particles to one another, making them larger and easier to filter from the air.

These ions travel within the airstream into both the occupied and unseen spaces of the building. As this occurs, the ions kill living pathogens such as bacteria. They also inactivate viruses and diseases, leaving them incapable of causing further harm. The inactivated particles left in the air are returned to the ventilation system’s filters and removed from the environment forever. This process is repeated over and over as the air circulates throughout the building, providing endless clean and healthy indoor air.

Benefits of GPS

The greatest benefit of using GPS with your building’s ventilation system is achieving a cleaner, safer environment for your employees and customers. This is crucial as we continue to seek out solutions that will allow us to safely reopen businesses to the public.

In addition, GPS is an environmentally friendly air purification process that allows buildings to reduce the amount of outdoor air required for ventilation by 50-70%. As a result, less energy is required to heat and cool the building. This allows you to save on operational costs while providing safer, healthier indoor air for everyone in the building – a true win-win for all involved.

With over 50 patents and 250,000 installations worldwide, GPS provides a scientifically proven solution that will significantly improve your indoor air quality. It’s an affordable, easy and smart decision for your business – one that will pay huge dividends for years to come.
